This web site has been written by Mr Anthony Lambert MS FRCS(Gen).

Introduction

I am a Consultant General Surgeon with an interest in non-elective surgery, day case surgery and paediatric surgery.

I qualified at Charing Cross Hospital in London in 1985.  I was awarded my Master of Surgery from the University of Bath where I researched Endovascular Stenting of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms looking at the quality control aspects of this new and developing technique.

With a continued active participation in sport I was awarded my Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine by the Joint Royal Colleges of Scotland in 1997 and I am presently completing my MSC.  I have a particular interest in groin pain and lower limb pain, which is the basis of my dissertation.

This website is designed to provide basic information relating to the surgical procedures that I deal with in my Practice.
